UNIQUE USES OF PETROLEUM JELLY OR VASELINE

Hello every one, today am gonna talk about various uses of vaseline or petroleum jelly..

Vaseline is the name of a brand which became a generic trademark of the term petroleum jelly.. petroleum jelly is such a versatile product and has various beauty and other uses.. There are some well known uses of these wonder-jelly like using it as a lip balm for soft lips and using it as a hand cream etc but there are few unusual and unique uses that most people are not aware of.. Now lets see them..

1. TIGHT JEWELRY

Am sure that all of us have gone through this situation where we struggled a lot to take off a tight ring from our finger or if you had your ears or nose pierced and you wanna change your earring for the first time after piercing and it is gonna pain terribly.. Here is the solution for this problem.. take a little bit of vaseline or petroleum jelly and apply it on your finger or ears or nose and then try taking off your jewelry it is gonna just slide away without any trouble.

2. LONG LASTING PERFUME : 

For your perfume to last longer rub in some vaseline on your wrist , back of your neck or wherever you are gonna apply your perfume.. This way the vaseline acts as a base to hold your perfume and your perfume will  last much longer than it normally would. 

3. EYE BROW GEL :

For a perfectly tamed eyebrow that does not move out of its place, apply little bit of vaseline and brush your eyebrows with a old mascara wand.. this way your eyebrows just stay in place..

4.TIGHT ZIP 

If your zipper got stuck and you struggle every time to pull your zip , apply little bit of vaseline to your zip and it is gonna run smoothly..

5. TO REMOVE LIPSTICK STAIN FROM CLOTHES 

It is normally very difficult to remove lipstick stain from your clothes.. so here is the solution , apply little bit of vaseline where you wanna remove the stain and rub it for few second and wipe it off with  tissue paper and then wash your cloth as you normally would.. lipstick stain is gonna vanish once you rinse the cloth..

6. SHINY SHOES AND HANDBAG 

If you are carrying a leather purse or a hand bag or you are wearing leather shoes, which is little bit old and it has lost its shine , apply some vaseline to give it a fresh look.. it will be as good as new..

7. AS A CUTICLE OIL 

You can use vaseline as a cuticle oil for keeping your cuticles soft and supple..

8. TO PREVENT DYE STAIN IN YOUR FACE 

If you are applying hair dye by yourself, you might accidentally touch your skin around your hair line and it is very difficult to remove the stain from your skin.. for preventing this apply vaseline along your hair line and back of your neck.. this way vaseline does not allow the dye to stain your skin.. even if you accidentally dropped dye in your skin you can easily wipe it off with tissue..

9. FOR A PERFECT MANICURE : 

similar to that of hair dye you might accidentally apply nail polish all over your cuticle or skin around your nails.. to avoid this rub little bit of vaseline along your cuticle and skin around your nails avoiding the finger nails.. and then apply your nail polish.. vaseline does not allow the nail polish to stain on your skin.. of course if you dont apply vaseline you can dip q tip in nail polish remover and then remove all those stained nail polishes but applying vaseline is easier than that..

10.AS A FACE ILLUMINATOR 

Vaseline can also be used as face illuminator to give that fresh jewy look.. i am not a big fan of matte look and i always uses this tip to bring that glow to my skin.. after applying makeup take some vaseline and slightly rub it in your cheek bone and brow bone area, so that when light hits those area it gives nice glowing effect to your skin..

11, TO PREVENT NAIL POLISH BOTTLES FROM SHUTTING CLOSE

Sometime it becomes really difficult to open a nail polish bottle cap since  the nail polish around the neck of the bottle becomes dry and makes to cap to closed tightly.. to avoid this apply little bit of vaseline around the neck of the nail polish bottle and then close the bottle..this way you dont have to worry about your favorite nail polish shutting closed.

12. MAKEUP REMOVER 

 Vaseline is a wonderful makeup remover.. it removes even water proof makeup.. and it is very gentle..

13. FOR BABY SOFT FEET 

To get baby soft feet , apply some vaseline to your feet at night and cover it with socks.. and you will wake up with a soft smooth feet.. i did this regularly and it got rid of my cracked heels..

14. FOR A SOFT ELBOWS AND KNEES 

Elbows and knees tends to get dry more, so moisturizer is just not enough to make your elbows and knees soft.. apply some vaseline to your elbows and knees to make it smooth and soft..

15. FOR A SOFT LIPS

Okay i know this is very familiar but i thought it is worth mentioning.. i am a huge lip balm addict.. i always constantly apply lip balms.. some times i come back to vaseline.. to be honest it is far far far better than any other lip balms in the market.. i have heard people saying that applying vaseline makes your lips darker.. but thats just a myth.. it makes your lips baby soft.. you can also add some sugar to vaseline and use it as lip scrub.. 

REVIEW ON NYLE DRYNESS CONTROL SHAMPOO

Hi guys , today am gonna review a hair care product by ''Nyle'' it is their dryness control shampoo with amla, tulsi and green tea.. i have never tried anything in this brand before.. i was in a search for a mild herbal shampoo and this one caught my attention.. i got a spinz body spray for free along with this pack :-D.. there is no conditioner available for this shampoo :( .. 

PRICE : RS 225 for 600 ml

SHELF LIFE : 2 years

Ingredients list contains a whole lot of chemicals and they say it is natural shampoo :-/

it comes in this huge transparent plastic bottle with a green cap.. it smells like a mixture of amla and tulsi.. but it is very mild.. it is a transparent liquid with a little bit of green tint.. it lathers up really well which i like.. 

as i mentioned earlier this shampoo doesnt have a conditioner,so i used it without any conditioner for a couple of times.. it made my hair extremely dry and rough.. then i used it with my pantene conditioner it gave some better result.. i would recommend this shampoo only to people with extremely oily scalp.. it is gonna wash out all the oil from your scalp.. people with dry scalp like me should stay million miles away from this stuff :P

DO I LIKE THE SHAMPOO ?? NOOOO :( and i am never gonna buy this shampoo again..

WHY?? because..

1. It doesnt control dryness instead it creates dryness.. they should change the name as oiliness control shampoo.. :P
2.It is not a herbal or natural shampoo.
3.it doesnt have a conditioner.
4. it strips all the natural oil from your scalp.

ANYTHING GOOD ABOUT IT ?? it lathers up really well.. and it completely cleanses the scalp.. people with extremely oil scalp can use this shampoo..

REVIEW ON MAYBELLINE'S NEW LASTING DRAMA GEL LINER IN 01 BLACK

Hi everyone,

Today I am gonna review a gel eye liner form maybelline called LASTING DRAMA GEL LINER in 01 black.. I am a huge fan of kajal in any form.. my eyes cant live without kajal.. I am a die hard fan of maybelline's colossal kajal I have been using it for 3 to 4 years now.. recently when i was exploring maybelline's counter I came across this lasting drama gel eye liner.. I have seen their old gel eye liner with blue and black packaging and it had a aluminium kind of cap to it.. but this was bit different and they changed the packaging as well.. the SA in the counter told that it is gonna stay for 36 hours.. but come on... who is gonna wear a kajal for continuous 36 hours??? :P.. i tried their tester it was creamy and intense and the SA told it is a 2 in 1 product.. it can be worn as a eye liner and kajal as well so I wanted to give it a short.. 

PRICE : RS 475 for 2.5gm

SHELF LIFE : 36 months.

PRODUCT CLAIM ; It says, it is more intense,upto 36h lasting , smudgeproof and water proof.. lets see whether it lived upto its claims..

I have been using this product for last two months exactly and I am in love with this gel liner.. it comes with a brush which is so user friendly.. it is so intense and creamy.. you need to apply this and let it sit for 2 to 3 minutes and you are good to go.. it stays for about 8 to 9 hours on me without smudging after which it slightly fades off..

As i already mentioned i have been using this product for last two months and i have emptied only that much.. so it is gonna last me for so long..

This is how it goes.. and it is just a single swipe.. i tried to smudge it immediately after swiping it, i dint even allow it to set and this is what happened

It did smudge a little but its only because i dint allow it to set.. and it is waterproof i have tested that too :).. 

DO I LIKE IT ?? YESSS.. thats a big YESS.. 

WHY?? 

Because 

1. it is so intense

2. it stays for 8 to 9 hrs without smudging 

3.it will last me for at least six months

4. it is reasonably price when compared to other gel liners.

5. i can reuse the brush even if the product is emptied.

6. good value for the money

WHAT IS NOT SO COOL ABOUT IT?? 

I wear contact lenses.. this stuff sometimes get transferred on my lenses.. so i have to apply this very carefully.. and wait till it dries.. other than that.. it is sooo awesome :)

MY TAKE ON THE BODY SHOP SHEA SHOWER CREAM

Hi

Today am gonna share a review on shower cream from body shop.. I ordered this online.. I have been using this shower cream for past three to four weeks.. it is quite different from other body wash or shower gels... I like using shower products which moisturizes my skin.. i mean who does nt?? :) so when I saw this online with the name ''shower cream ''rather that ''shower gel'' or '' body wash'' it intrigued me to try this stuff.. so I ended up ordering this shower cream..

The product says it is a soap free cleanser with shea butter from burkina faso.. That is the only part I understood from the package.. rest of the content are written some language which I cant even guess as to what. :P

PRICE : Rs 425 for 250ml..

SHELF LIFE : 30 months..

WHAT I THINK ABOUT THIS SHOWER CREAM ???

Well, I was quite excited to try this stuff when i received it at my door steps.. the packaging is so cute.. it is short and stout.. Bodyshop products are well reputed for their quality and natural ingredients.. It smells so good.. it reminds me of some perfume that I used long back which i could nt recollect.. anyway it has some nice floral kind of smell.. it is neither too watery nor too thick.. it has a right consistency in between.. 

It doesnt lather up like a normal shower gel since it is a soap free cleanser.. one should mix the product with little bit of water and spread it all over the body.. if feels so smooth and soft.. i sometimes forget my moisturizer after my bath but even without moisturizer this shower cream keeps my skin soft and hydrated which is awesome.. my skin feels nourished and clean at the same time.. 

DO I LIKE THE PRODUCT ?? YES..

WHY??

1.It makes my skin so soft and smooth even without moisturizer that too in this winter months..
2.It is a soap free shower product so it is very gentle on my skin..
3. my skin feels nourished and clean at the same time..

DRAWBACK

Since this product doesnt lather up you need to use more product than an actual shower gel or body wash to cover your whole body..
I personally want my shower gel to lather up really well.. but this doesnt do that.. but it cannot be considered as a con because that is the whole concept of this shower cream..

WILL I RECOMMEND THIS TO A FRIEND ?? Of course .. i will recommend this to all skin type..

TREAT PIMPLE AT HOME.

Pimple is one of the frustrating things that happens to our skin.. people of different age group faces this problem.. there is a common myth that only teens face pimple and acne problem and it happens to those with oily skin but it is not so.. it can happen to people of any age group and people with dry and normal skin may also get pimple due to various reasons and the mark they leave on your skin doesnt fade away so easily..

WHAT IS PIMPLE EXACTLY ?? 

When the pores of the face get clogged due to accumulation of sebum and dirt , it leads to pimple..

WHAT CAUSES PIMPLE  ??

There are various reasons for getting pimple.. some of the major causes are

1. POLLUTION : when your skin gets exposed to pollution, dust and dirt in the environment get trapped into your skin and causes pimple.

2.HORMONAL IMBALANCE : When your body faces hormonal imbalances it can cause pimple.

3.STRESS : stress is one of the important reason for pimples.. when you experience too much of stress it shows on your skin.

HOW TO GET RID OF PIMPLE AND ACNE MARKS ?? 

One can follow these simple home remedy to get rid of pimple ans acne marks

1. NEEM AND TERMERIC 

 Grind neem leaves with termeric powder.. apply on to your face and neck and wash it after twenty minutes.. you can do this twice a week. Neem kills the bacteria which causes pimple and prevent spreading of pimples..

2. TEA TREE ESSENTIAL OIL : 

Tea tree is an excellent cure for pimple and acne marks.. it helps to fade away the  marks  left by pimple. Mix tea tree essential oil with any career oil and apply it directly on pimple or marks.. it helps in vanishing your pimple and marks caused by it.

3. MUD PACK 

You need to absorb those oil accumulated in your pimple basically. so use a mud mask to absorb the oil.. you can mix multani matti and rose water..

4. CINNAMON POWDER 

 Mix cinnamon powder and rose water. apply this mixture on your face and wash it after twenty minutes..

FEW IMPORTANT THINGS TO BE NOTED :

• Wash your face at least thrice a day with gentle face wash.. you need to keep your skin clean.
• Apply astringent after washing your face.. you can use apple cider vinegar as an astringent.
• Do not touch or pop out your pimple.. it only aggravates the problem.
• Do not over exfoliate.. exfoliation helps in cleaning your skin.. but when you have pimple going on, you need to be very gently while exfoliating.
• Follow Cleansing Toning Moisturizing routine regularly..

BIOTIQUE ALOE VERA FACE AND BODY SUN LOTION SPF 75 REVIEW

Hi everybody today i am gonna review a product from biotique.. it is well known for its herbal products.. i like to use products which are natural and chemical free.. so i tried few biotique products.. today i am gonna talk about their sunscreen..it is very important to apply sunscreen through out the year.. it should not be neglected even during rainy season..i bought this one few months back and used it quite a bit..

PRICE : RS 180 for 210 ml..

SHELF LIFE : 3 years

INGREDIENTS LIST : it contains ghritkumari, neem, nagamotha, surajmukhi tail, kulanjan, himalayan water..

It comes in a plastic bottle with green cap.. it doesnt have any pump or anything like that.. the packaging is very simple..

it smells like fresh green leaves.. it is light green in color.. the consistency is somewhere between an oil and a liquid.. like many other sunscreen it does not make my skin oily.. it blends easily into my skin and it gives nice cooling effect.. it claims that it has spf 75 UVA/UVB protection.. i seriously doubt that.. because they claim that it is purely organic and there is no preservative..how can a herbal product contain spf of 75??..

 It does not cause any irritation to my skin.. it does not make my skin sweaty or oily.. it gets absorbed into my skin.. the staying power is pretty good.. it stays about 4 to 5 hours on me..

WHAT IS MY OPINION ABOUT THIS SUNSCREEN?

I always like to use natural products on my skin this one contains all natural ingredients and it smells so fresh.. it is not oily.. it blends well.. stays for a decent time.. it is very affordable.. it is available so easily..
Now lets look into the cons.. i doubt their claim that it contains spf 75..

WILL I RECOMMEND THIS ? yes.. i will recommend this to all skin type..

LIVON SILKY POTION REVIEW

Hi.. :) today am gonna share my view on livon silky potion.. winter is here.. like everybody else i too face certain skin and hair issues during these cold months.. dryness is a major problem that i face.. my hair became so frizzy due to dryness.. it tangles so easily and my hair breaks when i try to remove tangles.. so i bought this livon hair detangler..It was launched in India way back in 2000.. i was a kid then :P..when i was searching for a hair product which can tame my frizz this cute guy caught my attention.. here is my experience with this product.

The package contains information as to how the product should be used and when it should be used it says '' ideal for use on towel-dried damp hair, after shampooing. can also be used on completely dry hair to smoothen and soften it, prior to combing.
Take an adequate quantity of livon silky potion in your palm depending on the length and thickness of your hair. apply it gently on your hair till each hair strand is covered from base to tip. now touch your hair after combing. feel the difference instantly''

MY EXPERIENCE WITH LIVON SILKY POTION

It comes in a cute little transparent bottle.. it is available in different sizes i got this one which is 50 ml bottle.

the product is transparent without any fragrance.. it feels like silk in liquid form.. i use about 1/4th 

 of the teaspoon approximately for my entire hair.. I dont apply this product on my roots, i concentrate only on ends and mid of my hair.. hair hair feels so soft and smooth after applying the potion.. i usually apply this when my hair is 70 percent dry and then comb it with a wide tooth comb.. the comb just slides through my hair.. it removes all the tangles.. the potion is neither too watery nor too thick..unlike many other hair serums it does not make my hair greasy when i apply little bit in excess..

MY TRAVEL BEAUTY ESSENTIALS..

Hi guys :) i have been really busy with my exams for past few days.. now that am done with my exams and am free from all those stress, i am going on a trip with my family to my parents native.. i have started packing all my stuffs and i thought why not to show you guys, what i am gonna carry with me.. am concentrating only on my beauty products here :) ill share with you guys few organisation tips. lets get into it..

I have catagorized my beauty stuffs into makeup and skin care and others.. and i have packed them in separate self lock cover.. i always have this problem of my products leaking and spilling all over my luggage.. so this time am not gonna make that mistake.. i feel it is much more organised this way..

MY MAKEUP ESSENTIALS

I have just packed my absolute essentials and nothing more.. i am carrying..,

1. ponds bb cream
2. lakme compact powder
3.maybelline hyper curl volume express mascara
4. MAC lustre glass in luminary
5. faces glam on mono eyeshadow in pure gold
6. maybelline eyestudio lasting drama gel eyeliner
7. lakme lip love conditioner in flirt.
8. elle 18 color pop lipstick in no 36 peach kiss.
9.Revlon super lustrous in pure attraction

SKIN CARE

Am carrying,
1. clean and clear mini face wash
2. ponds mini cold cream
3. vaseline mini
4. everyuth apricot scrub ( i have transferred my scrub in a lil white container)
5. vlcc sunscreen sample pocket.
6. my DIY moisturizer which is in that dropper bottle.
7. khadi rose and honey moisturizer
8. khadi herbal shampoo and conditioner
9. face tissues.. i always carry dry tissues because am allergic to wet wipes.. even baby skin wipes irritates my skin. so most of the time i stick with dry tissues.
10. i have a vicks vapour up, just in case..

my body shop shea shower cream doesnt fit in that cover, i have been using this shower cream for past few days so ill be sharing my view on it soon..it doesnt need a loofah to use it..coz it doesnt lather up like usual shower gel.. i kept it in a separate cover along with some hair ties and clips and a pink color box which contains my jewels.. am not carrying bangles or any big jewels.. i am taking few pairs of earring in my pink box..

In a small self lock cover i have packed some cotton buds and some cotton pads and my dental floss.
I do wear contacts, so i have my contacts solution and lens case along with my tooth paste and brush in a separate cover..
Now i am gonna share a important tip with you guys.. it is on how to take your compact powder or eyeshadow or blush without cracking.. i have faced this a lot.. i broke my clinque blush once which was heart breaking ;( The trick is to place cotton pad on top of your compact powder or blush.. so that it acts as a cushion to your product and prevent them from breakage..

Now my compact and eyeshadow are break proof :P

CLEANSING TONING MOISTURIZING ( CTM ) WITH NATURAL INGREDIENTS.

Hi guys.. today am gonna talk about something very important in everyday skin care routine... its CTM.. many of you might already know what is CTM routine and might be following this procedure for ages. In this post am gonna tell you how to follow this CTM routine with natural ingredients. IT is a kind of DIY beauty regime.. Now, what is CTM? it is Cleansing Toning and Moisturizing, which is very important to keep your skin healthy and glowing.. Now lets jump into it..

CLEANSING

Cleansing is a very important step in a beauty routine.. keeping your skin clean and clear will help you in many ways.. it is ideal to wash your face thrice a day.. not more than that or else it is gonna end up really bad..

 CLEANSING INVOLVES TWO STEPS

1. Removing your makeup.
2. washing your face.

MAKEUP REMOVAL : It is very important to remove your makeup at the end of the day.. you may not do this during morning routine coz obviously you wont wear any makeup when you are waking up.. but during night time, no matter how tired are you through out the day, you should not skip this step.. coz sleeping with your makeup on can clog your pores and cause breakouts..

NATURAL WAY TO REMOVE MAKEUP : use coconut oil or olive oil to remove your  makeup.. it can remove even waterproof makeup easily.. take a cotton pad and pour some oil on it and rub it gently on your face and eyes and then wipe it off.. most of your makeup will be out of your face.. then get into the next step i,e washing your face.

FACE WASH : After removing your makeup you can go ahead and wash your face to completely clean your face..

DIY FACE WASH : mix one cup of gram flour with half a cup of milk powder and half a cup of rice powder.. put it in a container and give it a good shake.. it is a face wash in powder form.. it is all natural and very easy to make.. i have been using this face wash for past 5 to 6 days and my skin already feels so soft and smooth.. lactic acid in milk powder will help in cleansing your face.. gram flour and rice flour will help in scrubbing out the dead skin cells..

TONING

So many people have so many different ideas as to what is toning.. as far as i know toning is done to shrink your pores, prevent excessive oil production and to maintain the PH level in the skin.. it is always good to use a natural toner..

DIY TONER : mix one cup of green tea and one cup of apple cider vinegar.. you can find apple cider vinegar in a health food store.. if you dont have apple cider vinegar you can still use green tea as your toner.. make it in small quantity because you have to use it within ten days.. pour few drops of this toner in your cotton pad and apply it on your face and then let it dry..

MOISTURIZING

Last but not least moisturizing.. it is very important to keep your skin moisturized through out.. dry skin will lead to wrinkles.. so moisturizer is a must for all skin types.. it gives nourishment to your skin and keeps your skin healthy..

DIY MOISTURIZER : i have already done a post on how to make all purpose moisturizer which you can check out here DIY MOISTURIZER ... all you have to do is mix coconut oil, olive oil and almond oil and add few drops of glycerine and break a vitamin e capsule and add to it.. it contains all the good stuffs for your skin and it is better than any other store bought product..

BEAUTY USES OF ICE CUBES..

Hello everyone..  today am gonna share few unique beauty tips with ice cubes.. ice cubes are absolute essential during hot summer climate.. everybody loves to drink their juices with few ice cubes on them during hot season.. but it has so many bad effects on our health.. when it comes to beauty, they have few unique uses.. 

1. FOR LONG LASTING MAKEUP

Ice cubes are excellent substitute for makeup primer.. primer is the base for makeup which can make your foundations or eye shadow last longer. instead of using primer you can wrap a ice cube in clean cloth and rub it all over your face for good two to three minutes and then pat it dry with a towel. and then apply your makeup. this way your makeup will stay put throughout the day.

2.FOR FRESH AND DEWY LOOK

If you have no time left to get ready for a party or an outing and you absolutely have no time for your makeup, ice cubes are there for your rescue.. just wrap an ice cube in a clean cloth and rub it all over your face till it completely melts.. it makes your skin fresh and dewy and gives that shine to your face.. you can then apply your kajal and lip gloss and you are good to go..

3. TO REDUCE OIL SECRETION

If you have oily skin, rubbing ice cubes can control the secretion of oil.. it improves blood circulation in your face..

4. ICE CUBE FACE MASK

Instead of freezing water, you can freeze fruit juice or milk and rub it all over your face to get fresh looking skin.. freeze cucumber juice and rub it over your eyes to reduce dark circle and to get rid of puffy eyes.. if you are spending too much time on computer, your eyes tends to get tired and dull.. ice cubes can relieve those tiredness in your eyes..

5. SOOTHES THE SKIN

If you get swelling or redness after getting your waxing done, rub ice cubes on the affected area and it will subside instantly.. if you get rashes due to hot climate, ice cubes are there to help you out..

6. MINIMIZE THE PORES 

Ice cubes helps to shrink the pores.. but it is important to note that using too much of ice cubes at a time will have adverse effect.. and it should not be directly used on your skin.. always use a clean cloth and wrap the cubes and then apply..

1. DRINK LOT OF WATER

Sounds familiar ??? very familiar??? you probably would have heard people saying this for more than a million times but just think for yourself.. keeping yourself hydrated makes such a big difference in your hair and skin.. drinking lot of water have lot of health benefits too.. it helps to maintain the moisture level in your body and helps in keeping your skin and hair supple from inside.. it is an all-in-one remedy.

2. AVOID COLORING AND BLEACHING

Do not color or bleach or do any chemical treatment to your hair during this season.. it is going to make your hair very dry and cause damage to your hair..it will definitely increase the rate of hair fall.. your hair will end up looking dull and lifeless.. avoid using dry shampoos it is going to make the situation really worse.

3.AVOID STYLING TOOLS.

Blow drying your hair or curling or ironing your hair is going to make it really dry. so, keep away all your styling tools during the cold weather.. towel dry your hair as much as possible.. if you are in hurry and you have no other choice than using a blow drier then keep it in low and use..

4. AVOID HOT WATER SHOWER.

Do not take shower in very hot water because hot water washes away all the moisture in your hair.. use luke warm water..

5. DO NOT SHAMPOO EVERYDAY.

Some of you may have the habit of washing your hair everyday.. dont do that to your hair.. not only in cold weather but generally washing your hair everyday will wash out all the natural oil that your scalp is producing to protect the hair.. so avoid shampooing your hair eveyday.. it is going to make your hair very dry.. use mild shampoos which contains more natural ingredients..

6.APPLY OIL..

okay this one is the ancient hair care tip that we follow for ages... but due to our busy schedules we tend to forget or we dont want our hair to look greasy... but it is very important to give that nourishment to your hair during this season.. oiling gives nourishment to your hair and make it soft and silky.. if you are planning to wash your hair the next day apply oil and leave it overnight.. or at least apply oil before an hour of taking shower.. after taking shower take little bit of oil or serum and rub it in your palm and run through the mid length and ends of your hair.. your ends get very dry than your roots comparatively.. go for a hair spa or a oil massage..

7. AVOID DRYING HAIR MASK

Avoid using hair mask which contains ingredients that may cause dryness for example henna and sheekakkai they are excellent root strengthening ingredients but it may dry out your hair during this season so you can mix it with other moisturising ingredients and use it.. you can mix a lot of curd in your hair pack or you can mix aloe vera gel in your hair pack..

8.GIVE NOURISHMENT TO YOUR HAIR..

Giving nourishment from inside is very important.. have a healthy diet.. include pappaya, fish, carrot etc in your food.. take vitamin e regularly which helps in hair growth.. It apparently helps in improving the texture of your hair..

9. WEAR A SCARF

Wearing a scarf on your hair can avoid the cold hair in suckng the moisture out of your hair.. scarf can be worn as a style statement.. it has two in one purpose.. protect your hair from getting dry while travelling..

HOW TO DECORATE YOUR CELLPHONE CASES...

Hi guys :) today am gonna share a really fun and creative DIY.. it is on how to decorate your own cell phone case.. it is very simple and inexpensive.. you can just jass up your old boring cell phone case into something really cute and stylish.. i have made two of them..

Here is what you will need...

An old cell phone case.. here i have used this plastic flexible case ...few stickers and stones of your choice.. here i have used fabric glue to stick my stones coz it dries very clear.. just use good amount of glue to each stone and it is not gonna fall off that easily.. and i used a needle kinda thing to place my stone in the case.. 

Ok now lets get started... all you have to do is just start sticking the stone and stickers according to your liking... you can just go crazy with it and create whatever pattern you want.. you can even add small mirrors to it.. or you can add pearls to it.. it is totally your option.. sure it is gonna take some time to complete the entire case but its totally worth it, your cell phone case is gonna look fabulous..

Once when you are done with sticking the stones, just leave it for about 5 to 6 hrs and the fabric glue will dry very clearly and disappear.. you will be left with an awesome bling bling cell phone case.. why should you spend too much money on stylish cellphone cases if you can easily make one yourself???.. :)

MY CURRENT FAVORITE SKIN CARE PRODUCTS AND MINI REVIEW ON THEM

Hello every one.. today am gonna share my view on my current favorite skin care products.. i ve been using these products for a little while and am loving them so far.. so i wanted to share my view on them with you.. this is going to be a small post since i have picked only my absolute fav products at the moment.. so lets get started..

AVON NATURALS SHOWER GEL IN RASPBERRY AND HIBISCUS

PRICE : rs 199 for 200 ml..

I have been using this shower gel for last three weeks and am absolutely loving this one.. it smells so good like a candy.. it is clear gel with a lil bit of pink tint to it.. am using this one with my amway loofah.. you need only little of this gel to use on your entire body..so, little goes a long way.. it makes my skin so soft and smooth..i literally felt it in just three or four uses.. i have sensitive skin.. this product doesnt create any problem in my skin.. i already used shea butter one in this same range and i discussed about it in my empties post a few days back.. this one is equally good.. only thing i dont like about this is the ingredients list.. it contains lot of chemicals.. but it dint create any problem..


BIOCARE WINE AND BEER SCRUB

PRICE : somewhere around rs300.. i am not sure coz i got it online for rs220 long back..(500ml)

 It comes in a huge tub which is not travel friendly which i dont mind coz i used to transfer it in a small container when am travelling.. it lasts for ever.. i have been using this scrub for past 7 to 8 months.. still i have so much product left in my tub.. it is a gentle scrub so it is perfect for everyday use.. i use this once in two days and it makes my skin soft and bright.. i use it on my face and body as well.. i wish they had lil bit more granules in them.. but it is just good for sensitive skin.. it smells good.. it looks like a pink color cream with red granules in them.. if you are looking for a deep cleansing scrub with hard granules this is not the one for you...great value for the money i paid.. the quantity is good.. over all i just love this one.. i think it is gonna last me for another six months.. it  has shelf life of 3 years..

VAADI HERBALS ALEOVERA DEEP CLEANSING MILK.

PRICE : RS 54 for 110 ml..

It smells so fresh like lemon.. it is white in color with lotion like consistency.. you need only a small amount to work on your entire face.. mostly i use this as a makeup remover.. i tried it on my eyes as well to remove my eye makeup.. surprisingly it dint irritate my eyes and easily removed my stubborn eye liners .. it removes all my makeup in just a few seconds and leaves my skin clean.. it dint create any irritation or any problem in my skin..it lasts for so long since you need only a little amount..

VLCC STRAWBERRY LIP SHIELD

PRICE : i got it for rs 95 a while ago now the price has been increased to rs 125 i believe.. for 10ml

It has shelf life of four years which is awesome.. i bought this one long back and i loved it.. after few days when i bought so many other lip balms i left this guy without any attention :(..recently i discovered this little guy hiding in my vanity and started using it again.. i regret myself for not using this one for so long.. now coming back to the review it smells so yummy like a strawberry candy..it has spf 10..it looks like a pink color lip balm but it is actually sheer.. you cant even see the pink tint in your lips.. it is so moisturizing and my lips feels so soft.. it melts when you keep it near window on a sunny day.. the only issue with this one is the packaging.. you need to dip your fingers to use it which is not hygienic.. it will last for so long since the quantity is huge..
