MOST AFFORDABLE BB CREAMS IN INDIA - A COMPARISON

Hi every one today am gonna share my view on most affordable bb creams in India.. we are gonna talk about ponds bb cream, maybelline bb cream, garnier bb cream and lakme cc cream.. i have tried all the four and really impressed with some of them. here am gonna compare all the four bb creams and give my honest opinion on them.. okay now lets get started..

here are the four bb creams.. okay three bb creams and one cc cream ;)

Now lets study each one of them seperately.. First one is PONDS BB CREAM..

PRICE : RS 125 for 18g and rs 69 for 9g

SHELF LIFE : 24 months from the date of packaging.

Ponds bb cream comes in a really cute packaging which is travel friendly.. it has a very mild smell ponds white beauty bb+ fairness cream contains spf 30 PA++.. it is very creamy and gives a good medium coverage.. it is very easy to blend.. it covers the dark circle only upto certain level.. but remember its just a bb cream and not a foundation.. as a bb cream it does its job really well. it glides smoothly. It gives an instant brightening effect your face. it is very affordable and it contains very decent amount of spf. The staying power is really good.

Now lets take a look at MAYBELLINE CLEARGLOW BRIGHT BENIFIT CREAM..

 PRICE : RS 199 for 18 ml

SHELF LIFE : 36 months from the date of packaging.

The bb cream comes in a really cute packaging and it is travel friendly. maybelline bb cream is available in three shades.. nude, radiance and natural. nude is the darkest shade, radiance is the medium shade and natural is the lightest shade. it contains spf 21.. it has a very light fragrance.. it has a watery lotion like consistency which is very light.. it spreads easily..it gives a nice freshening look. if the product is applied in little excess it gives that whitish cast to your face.. so one must be very careful in picking up the right amount. it has a very light coverage and it does not cover any scares or spots or dark circles.. it stays for longer..

1. some people may not like its smell.
2. it leaves a white cast if applied excessively.
3. it has a very low coverage.
4. amount of spf could have been better.

Lets move on to GARNIER BB CREAM.

PRICE : RS 99 for 18g

SHELF LIFE : 36 months from the date of packaging..

maybelline bb cream and garnier bb cream have similar packaging and similar fragrance and similar consistency as well.. its like they are from the same family.. but this one is the most inexpensive bb cream available in india.. it glides smoothly and gives light coverage.. it gives that healthy glow to your skin.. it feels moisturizing.. it even outs the skin and it does not leave any white cast..it is available in only one shade.. it has spf 24 which is great.. it lasts all day long..

CONS
1. it has only one shade
2. some people may not like the smell.
3.very light coverage.

Now last but not the least LAKME CC CREAM

PRICE : RS 250 for 30 ml

SHELF LIFE : 24 months


lakme cc cream is available in two shades beige and bronze.. bronze is the darkest shade and beige is the lightet it has spf of 20 which am not satisfied with... it glides very smoothley.. it makes the skin really soft. it gives a medium coverage.. it has a creamy consistency.. it gives even skin tone and brightens the skin.. it gives that nice glow.. it is easily buildable.. it does not leave any white cast and it does not feel cakey.. it lasts through out the day..

here is the swatch of the shade bronze. i thought beige would be too light for my skin tone.

PROS

2. price.. i mean rs 250 for 30 ml is cool
3. medium coverage
4. brightens the tone
5. makes your skin soft
6. it gives a nice glow
7.does not feel cakey

CONS
1. it has very low spf
2.does not cover dark circle but it is not a foundation or a concealor to do that job.

OK HERE IS MY COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS...

First one from the top is lakme cc cream, second one is garniers bb cream, third is the maybelline bb cream and lastly ponds bb cream..

                     starting with ponds bb cream it has a very creamy consistency and instantly brightens the skin.. it gives a very decent coverage and has good amount of spf.. it is available in two sizes so that you can try it first and then buy the bigger version. it is very affordable. lakme cc cream and ponds bb cream has the same consistency whereas maybelline bb cream and garnier bb cream has the same consistency..ponds has the highest amount of spf and out of all ponds have a very good fragrance.. moving on to maybelline i basically love maybelline i am in love with all thier products but this one disappointed me.. this bb cream does not provide a very good quality.. it feels cakey.. it has very low coverage.. moving on to garnier it is the most affordable one.. it also comes in two sizes.. it has a very light lotion like consistency.. it gives a nice glow. but it gives a very light coverage.. it has a decent spf.. now looking at lakme cc cream it makes your skin really soft and it feels so smooth.. it gives a decent coverage.. it gives a nice glow.. it has a right consistency that a bb cream should have.. great quality and quantity for the price paid it comes in two shades .. but it lacks in amount of spf..

so, after looking at all the pros and cons of all the four of them.. i feel PONDS BB CREAM IS THE BEST OUT OF ALL.. and the second place goes to lakme cc cream.. and next would be garnier bb cream and last place goes to the maybelline one..
