DIY ALL PURPOSE MOISTURIZER..

Hi guys.. happy diwali.. today am gonna discuss about something very important in your everyday skin care routine.. '' moisturizer''.. it plays a major role in keeping your skin young and hydrated.. winter is going to be here soon, your skin definitely need that extra care from you.. most of the store bought moisturizers contain chemicals to preserve their product which can damage our skin instead of protecting them.. so here is a simple recipe to make your own all purpose moisturizer which is very effective.. trust me i have tried this and am loving it... so now lets get into it..

INGREDIENTS

So this is what you will need

- two table spoon of coconut oil
- one table spoon of extra virgin olive oil
- one table spoon of almond oil.
- 3-4 drops of glycerine
- one vitamin e capsule
- essential oil ( optional )

METHOD OF PREPARATION.

mix them together.. as simple as that ;).. you can add 3-4 drops of essential oil to it which is totally optional i have added lavender oil in my mixture.. if you have acne or pimple then you can add tea tree essential oil..
you can store them for about six months..

 i have stored mine in this cute lil dropper bottle... i think it is more hygienic to store it this way..

USES : it contains all the good stuffs which can keep your skin hydrated and smooth.. you can use it in so many different ways.. you can use this pretty much everywhere in your body.. i have listed some of the uses here.. 1. eye makeup remover.. it removes even water proof mascaras. 2. face moisturizer. i have been using this recipe for past two months and it definitely helped my skin to become soft and smooth. 3. hand cream. 4. cuticle oil 5. eye cream.. it contains vitamin e and almond oil which helps in reducing wrinkles and dark circle.6. hair mask.. vitamin e helps in hair growth..7.lip balm.. you can apply this at night time and wake up with soft baby lips..

I prefer using this during night time.. it may look lil bit oily when you apply this during day time..you need to shake it well before using.. it is very effective on people with dry skin.. you can visibly see the results in a week time.. oily skinned beauties can also use this oil but in lesser quantity than dry or normal skinned people would use.. it wont clog your pores and cause acne.. it is a very good treatment for dull and rough skin.. it is way better than any store bought moisturizers..you know exactly what is there in your moisturizer.. and you can save lot of money.. please give it a try.. i hope you all liked it.. thank you :)

BEAUTY PRODUCTS THAT I'VE USED UP AND MINI REVIEW ON THEM..

Hi everyone today i am going to talk about beauty products that i have used up recently and ill give you a short review on the product.. the basic idea is that, i can give you a full on review only when i use the product for quite a long time.. once when i finish the product ill have better knowledge about the product.. so lets get into the subject.

AVON NATURALS SHEA AND APRICOT SHOWER GEL

PRICE : INR 199 for 200 ml.. ( i got it for 99 rs )

This shower gel smells yummy.. it smells like cup cakes.. it is a baby yellow color opaque gel.. it lathers up really well.. i started noticing that my skin has become so soft within few days of using this shower gel.. i absolutely enjoyed every single drop of this shower gel..it feels nice and fresh.. right now am using the other variant from this  range which is also equally good.. only con i have with this shower gel is  the ingredient list.. it contains lot of chemicals.. i have sensitive skin but it dint create any problem in my skin.. so i absolutely loved this one..

WILL I BUY THIS AGAIN ? yes, of course..

DABUR GULABARI ROSE WATER

PRICE :RS 23 for 59 ml.

i use this rose water in all my face packs for that extra glow.. i use it as a toner.. sometime i used to mix it with my everyday moisturizer and apply it all over my body which makes my skin soft and smooth.. it has that standard rose water smell.. it is a colorless rosewater..

WILL I BUY THIS AGAIN ? i already bought one ;)

LIPICE LIP BALM IN STRAWBERRY

i got it long back so i dont remeber the price exactly.. it is around 100 rs.. for 4.3 g

ok.. i really dint finish the lipbalm, it got expired.. it is not good anymore.. it has got nice candy like fragrance.. i dint like the texture of this lip balm.. it literally feels like applying candle wax in your lips.. this lipbalm has tingling effect.. but it lasts only for few minutes.. only good thing i found in this lip balm is that it has got spf 15.. so it is good for summer..

WILL I BUY THIS AGAIN?  no..

BANJARAS SKIN LIGHTENING GEL

PRICE : INR 95 for 100 g

i always loved banjaras , this one is no exception.. this is a great gel moisturizer which gives a nice glow to your skin.. it actually lightens your skin in long run.. i also use banjaras saffron gel which is equally good.. it looks like a pink color gel from the tube but it is actually a clear gel.. it takes two to three minutes to completely dry.. once it is dried it gives that nice glow to your skin..

WILL I BUY THIS AGAIN? yes, of course..

VASELINE TOTAL MOISTURE THE MINI ONE..

PRICE ; INR 10  for 20 ml..

i used to carry this in my hand bag.. it is very moisturising.. it absorbs so quickly.. it makes my skin soft.. but it looks lil bit oily.. i dont apply this in my face.. i use it only on my hands and legs.. it is very travel friendly.. it smells nice..

WILL I BUY THIS AGAIN? i may or may not coz i have lot of moisturizers to finish.. and i also have mini travel size moisturizers to carry in my bag.. i may buy once when i finish all of them..

NATURES ESSENCE NEEM AND ALOEVERA FACE WASH

PRICE : INR 60 FOR 65 ML.

my all time fav face wash in astaberry's wine face wash but it is not available widely.. recently i ran out of that face wash and i had to buy this one for temporary use.. i have to admit that i really fell in love with this one.. it made my skin soooo smooth... it instantly brightens the skin.. since it is a soap free face wash, it does not lathers up which is the only drawback for me in this face wash.. and i dint like the smell but who cares ;) it does its job really well and it contains all natural ingredients... it is really good for people with pimple and acne..

last but not the least..

ASTABERRY WINE FACE WASH.

PRICE : 1NR 85 FOR 100 ML..

i found this face wash long back on snapdeal.. ever since i found this it has become my all time fav face wash as i mentioned above.. in this picture i have two of them one is completely used and another one is brand new. i had to cut open the tube since i was running out of facewash..it smells heavenly.. it has calming effect.. i absolutely love this face wash.. right now i am using nineth or tenth tube.. it makes my skin soft and supple.. it brightens my face.. it is very gentle on my skin.. i looks like a wine color face wash from the tube but it is almost clear with lil bit of pink tint.. it lathers up very well.. you can feel the softness while washing your face..

WILL I BUY THIS AGAIN? yes of course.. i bought one already as you can see..

Hi everyone, today i am going to talk about handbag essentials and few ways to save some space in your handbag.. girls and handbags are like inseparable twins.. girls can hardly do without handbag.. if you are a girl you need to carry so many things that are absolutely essential..  every girl carry at least few beauty products to touch up in  mid of the day or to get ready for a sudden outing etc.. so how can you carry everything without making you bag heavy???? in this post am gonna share few tips on that... you can carry everything without making your bag too heavy... Now lets see how.. first lets concentrate on beauty products.

LIPSTICK

In this post ill keep all the product that am showing in my hand.. so that you can have an idea as to how tiny the product is..

girls who does not carry makeup in their everyday bag will at least have a lipstick..lipsticks can change your look instantly.. from day to night.. from formal to party makeup.. you can even use lipsticks as a cream blush.. an average girl have atleast three to four colors of lipstick and it is definitely gonna take some space.. this is a great option for that.    these tiny cute lil lipsticks are from avon.. it is their sample for ultra color lipsticks .. you can get 10 lipsticks for rs 199..  there are different categories  like light shades dark ones.. reds and pinks... i have chose reds and pinks..                                                                                                                                          

BB CREAM

 when it comes to beauty product my absolute essential is a bb cream.. it is a mixure of moisturizer, sunscreen and a bit of foundation. how great is that.. my favorite one is ponds bb cream. it comes in a small size too..

Now this bb cream is a medium coverage bb cream. it has spf 30 PA++.. it is available for rs 75 for 9g..

FACE WASH

Of course you need a face wash.. here i have himalayas mini neem face wash.. rs15 for 15ml..it is good for all skin type.

PERFUME

Everybody wants to smell good..I have mini deo from eva.. it comes in three fragrances.. my fav is the pink one. rs 30 for 8ml.

MOISTURIZER 

if you have dry skin or even normal skin sometimes your hands may get very dry and you can feel it.. so you need a moisturizer.. here i have two mini ones from ponds and vaseline.. both are available for rs 5 each.. you can use vaseline as a moisturizer and lip balm as well.. 

SUNSCREEN

I got a free sample sunscreen pack from vlcc.. this is how the actual big size looks.. the sample pack is very handy and easy to carry.. you can ask for samples in your beauty supply stores.. 

MASCARA 

mascaras are such a magical product that can make your eyes bright instantly.. i have this little mascara from a makeup kit that i got as a gift.. it works really well.. you can find mini mascaras in some makeup brands.

KAJAL 

Kajal is something which exits for so many centuries.. indian women cant live without kajal.. i couldnt find any mini eye pencils.. i usually carry those pencils which i have used a lot and due to which it became shorter.. here i have faces long wear eye pencil..  rs 350.

SAFETY POUCH

I have this cute little pouch in which i keep a nail clipper and it has attached nail file.. couple of safety pins and hair pins, hair band.. i have a two rs coin in case my mobile died out of battery which happens to me all the time and i need to make an emergency call, i can use it, of course i have my purse but still you need to have a coin..

you can literally store all the products that i have shown above in this little pencil pouch. i have even added a hand sanitizer , a band aid in this pouch...

OTHER STUFFS

PEN AND NOTEBOOK..

MEDICINE 

If you are under medication and you need to carry some medicines with you this is a cute little way.. find some small container like this and put your medicines inside the container.. or you can even carry your mouth freshner like tic tac etc..   

WALLET 

                                                                           I have a huge leather wallet which is very heavy.. but i dont need all the cards and things everyday.. so this is what i carry most of the time.. a card holder which contains my id, drivers liscence, and important card that i need for the day and some cash...

we have saved all these space to carry other important things such as WATER BOTTLLE, books.. carry a large water bottle. you need to drink lot of water.. keep yourself hydrated throughout the day and books are like a good friend.. expand your knowledge by reading books.. since you have so many spaces left you can carry few other feminine things, some healthy snacks, tissues, mobile, lighter etc

INSTANT BRIGHTNESS NATURALLY

                     Hi every one..Today i am gonna talk about one wonderful ingredient which gives you instant result visibly..This beauty tip has always helped to get instant brightness when i have no time to get ready for a party or an outing.. It is all natural and organic.. and it is easy to make.. Now the ingredient that we are talking about is '' mint leaf ''.. yes.. mint is an awesome ingredient which has toning property to it. It is one of those ingredients that you will regularly find in various skin care products like moisturizers, cleansers, conditioners, shampoos and even lip balms. mint is great for skin which needs extra care and treatment.. It also helps in removing acne naturally without any side effects..Mint contains vitamin A which freshens the skin and rejuvenate the skin.. Now lets get into the procedure..

YOU WILL NEED

1. Mint leaves - about ten leaves..

2. 1 tb spoon of curd..

METHOD 

 Grind both the ingredients together.. it should look like this..

Apply this mixture in your face and leave it on for twenty minutes.. if you are really in hurry you should keep it for at least ten minutes. 

okay i know i look scary.. but yeah.. wash it after twenty minutes or at least ten minutes.. you will instantly notice huge difference in your skin.. your skin will look fresh and soft.. and dont forget to apply moisturizer after washing your face :)                 

There are lot of other ways in which you can use mint to your skin.. you can apply mint juice as toner to your skin.. but this method is my absolute fav.. it is so easy and quick.. you dont  need much ingredients.  And the results are guaranteed..                                                              

MAYBELLINE COLORSHOW LIPSTICK IN RED MY LIPS REVIEW

        Hi every one today i am going to share my view on maybelline's new color show lipstick in the shade red my lips number 202.. earlier i tried their color show nail polishes and i fell in love with them.. so when i saw this lipstick from the same range i decided to buy at least on of them.. i wanted a bright bold red lipstick so i asked the SA to show me reds in this range.. she showed me like three to four reds.. when she swatched this red on my hand i really liked it so i tried it on my lips.. it was absolutely gorgeous.. finally i decided to take this home..

PRICE : INR 299 for 3.9 gm
SHELF LIFE : 36 mnths from date of mfg.

maybelline has this habit of introducing their products at a lesser rate and hike the price within three to four months ;)

PACKAGING :
                        It comes in a black color tube with a red belt in the centre.. each color had different color belt in the middle.. the packaging is just an old school packaging nothing interesting ..  the plastic cover had the name color show.. but you have to remove the cover to open the tube.. when you remove the cover it becomes plain black tube..

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE LIPSTICK

                ok here is my heart breaking story with this lipstick.. i was soooo excited about this lipstick since i loved their nail polish from this range... when i opened the cap, there was no lipstick in the tube.. the tube was empty i was shocked to see that and then i noticed the lipstick got stuck to the cap... it was so creamy.. so when i touched it , it got transfered  to my fingers.. i could not pull it from the cap.. so i kept it in the freezer for about five minutes and then with the help of a long needle and a lip brush i some how managed to take the lipstick from the cap and inserted it into the tube.. now the lipstick is in right position but its shape is completely gone.. take a look at this .. ;(

yeah i know it is so messy.. i lost the bill that i got for purchasing this one or else i would have gone to the shop and exchanged it.. i basically love maybelline.. it is my all time fav brand.. but this time i got frustrated :(....

Ok, now lets leave this part.. the lipstick is so creamy and moisturizing..you dont need to apply any lip balm.. It smells like bubble gum.. if you had tried nivea's lip balm in pearly shine, this one smells exactly like that nivea one.. They have good range of colors.. you have lots of colors to choose from. It is so pigmented. single swipe is enough to get that right amount of color. it  does not have any shimmer and it is not matte either. it gives that nice shine to your lips.. It does not bleed or settle into the fine lines..

 The color is so good. it makes my teeth look white.. this one is the exact red color that i was searching for. I am happy that i got my desired color. It stays on for about four to five hours on me. after which it fades away evenly leaving some red tint to my lips.. it gets transfered to the cup..

This is how it looks on me.. i dint apply any lip gloss on top.. its just the lipstick.

Hi every one today am gonna share my view on most affordable bb creams in India.. we are gonna talk about ponds bb cream, maybelline bb cream, garnier bb cream and lakme cc cream.. i have tried all the four and really impressed with some of them. here am gonna compare all the four bb creams and give my honest opinion on them.. okay now lets get started..

here are the four bb creams.. okay three bb creams and one cc cream ;)

Now lets study each one of them seperately.. First one is PONDS BB CREAM..

PRICE : RS 125 for 18g and rs 69 for 9g

SHELF LIFE : 24 months from the date of packaging.

Ponds bb cream comes in a really cute packaging which is travel friendly.. it has a very mild smell ponds white beauty bb+ fairness cream contains spf 30 PA++.. it is very creamy and gives a good medium coverage.. it is very easy to blend.. it covers the dark circle only upto certain level.. but remember its just a bb cream and not a foundation.. as a bb cream it does its job really well. it glides smoothly. It gives an instant brightening effect your face. it is very affordable and it contains very decent amount of spf. The staying power is really good.

Now lets take a look at MAYBELLINE CLEARGLOW BRIGHT BENIFIT CREAM..

The bb cream comes in a really cute packaging and it is travel friendly. maybelline bb cream is available in three shades.. nude, radiance and natural. nude is the darkest shade, radiance is the medium shade and natural is the lightest shade. it contains spf 21.. it has a very light fragrance.. it has a watery lotion like consistency which is very light.. it spreads easily..it gives a nice freshening look. if the product is applied in little excess it gives that whitish cast to your face.. so one must be very careful in picking up the right amount. it has a very light coverage and it does not cover any scares or spots or dark circles.. it stays for longer..

CONS'
1. some people may not like its smell.

SHELF LIFE : 36 months from the date of packaging..

maybelline bb cream and garnier bb cream have similar packaging and similar fragrance and similar consistency as well.. its like they are from the same family.. but this one is the most inexpensive bb cream available in india.. it glides smoothly and gives light coverage.. it gives that healthy glow to your skin.. it feels moisturizing.. it even outs the skin and it does not leave any white cast..it is available in only one shade.. it has spf 24 which is great.. it lasts all day long..

   PROS
1.price
2.glides easily
3. gives nice glow
4. stays longer
5.feels moisturising
6. it has good amount of spf

CONS
1. it has only one shade
2. some people may not like the smell.
3.very light coverage.

Now last but not the least LAKME CC CREAM

PRICE : RS 250 for 30 ml

SHELF LIFE : 24 months


lakme cc cream is available in two shades beige and bronze.. bronze is the darkest shade and beige is the lightet it has spf of 20 which am not satisfied with... it glides very smoothley.. it makes the skin really soft. it gives a medium coverage.. it has a creamy consistency.. it gives even skin tone and brightens the skin.. it gives that nice glow.. it is easily buildable.. it does not leave any white cast and it does not feel cakey.. it lasts through out the day..

here is the swatch of the shade bronze. i thought beige would be too light for my skin tone.

PROS
1. available in 2 shades
2. price.. i mean rs 250 for 30 ml is cool
3. medium coverage
4. brightens the tone
5. makes your skin soft
6. it gives a nice glow
7.does not feel cakey

CONS
1. it has very low spf
2.does not cover dark circle but it is not a foundation or a concealor to do that job.

OK HERE IS MY COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS...

First one from the top is lakme cc cream, second one is garniers bb cream, third is the maybelline bb cream and lastly ponds bb cream..

                     starting with ponds bb cream it has a very creamy consistency and instantly brightens the skin.. it gives a very decent coverage and has good amount of spf.. it is available in two sizes so that you can try it first and then buy the bigger version. it is very affordable. lakme cc cream and ponds bb cream has the same consistency whereas maybelline bb cream and garnier bb cream has the same consistency..ponds has the highest amount of spf and out of all ponds have a very good fragrance.. moving on to maybelline i basically love maybelline i am in love with all thier products but this one disappointed me.. this bb cream does not provide a very good quality.. it feels cakey.. it has very low coverage.. moving on to garnier it is the most affordable one.. it also comes in two sizes.. it has a very light lotion like consistency.. it gives a nice glow. but it gives a very light coverage.. it has a decent spf.. now looking at lakme cc cream it makes your skin really soft and it feels so smooth.. it gives a decent coverage.. it gives a nice glow.. it has a right consistency that a bb cream should have.. great quality and quantity for the price paid it comes in two shades .. but it lacks in amount of spf..

so, after looking at all the pros and cons of all the four of them.. i feel PONDS BB CREAM IS THE BEST OUT OF ALL.. and the second place goes to lakme cc cream.. and next would be garnier bb cream and last place goes to the maybelline one..
